My friend Marlena Spieler is currently in France and making me very very jealous. When in France, it is all about dairy products (ok, and wine). Cheese, ice-cream, yogurt, creme fraiche, fromage blanc… Who can get enough? I certainly can’t. I’m reminded of all the trips I used to take, usually in the Fall for mushroom collecting or in search of… Sitting in my hotel room, overlooking the park and the row of Linden trees, or sitting in the park under those Linden trees! A real baguette, some cheese, fresh fruit, vin ordinaire, and with my favorite mushroom knife as the only dining equipment necessary. A perfect meal.
